Peter-John Campbell discovered his love of filmmaking at a young age and spent his childhood with a camera in his hand, consistently writing stories and filming them using friends, neighbors, siblings, as the stars of his early work. In 2005 he established his production company Claymore Pictures and directed his first short film, An American Revolution which won a Silver Remi at the 2006 Houston World Film Festival.
His 2008 animated short The Story of Seema, produced for As Our Own, an organization that works for women’s rights and education in India, has been seen around the world. Having worked for a radio network for over a decade, Peter-John used his expertise to focus Claymore Pictures on postproduction audio, filling a need for small boutique production companies. Claymore has since expanded into producing corporate and non-profit advertising, documentaries, short films, and music videos. He is currently working on This Field Looks Green To Me, which will be his directorial debut on a feature-length project.
